Not all of you may know this, but I have had the opportunity to run cross country and track at Western. I LOVE it. Not only have I met the most amazing people, it helps give me focus and drive outside the long hours in the classroom.

As athletes balancing school, sports and usually a job, life gets pretty hectic. Speaking for myself and others, it can be emotionally and physically stressful. I have learned the hard way the importance of taking care of your body, mind and spirit. Above I put together a little diagram of what has helped me find the balance, and what I have learned.

P.S. there's a lot of stuff you can overthink...and you don't want to get wrapped up in that either, just remember K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid.
