About
What’s this space all about? Good question. We’ve wanted to start a blog for probably about a year and a half now, but with the craziness of life it has taken forever to get it up and going. Lots of ideas have been tossed around about how it will look, what the content would be...and so on, but as two busy athletes we didn’t really know where to start. We decided it’s about time we just plunge in, and we’d figure it out along the way. So here is our story dumped out into these pages. We’ve both found a love and passion for triathlon training and racing. It has helped us overcome struggles, and lead us to an incredible community of people. As sisters we have different strengths and weaknesses, but have found that together we are stronger. Here is our journey of training and tri-ing and living life to the fullest through it all. We both have a passion in the realm of food, fitness and overall well-being. We hope this can be a spot where ideas are shared and created as a little escape from the real world. From swim strokes to pancake flippin’ this blog is our journey of living crazy lives, but taking time to enjoy one avocado at a time.

So who am I? Well I’m still figuring that one out myself…but here’s a few fun facts. I’m a 20-something year old finding my way in the World at Western Washington University. I’m studying recreation, minoring in communication and I spend most of my time outside of that running in the trails near my school. I love food, yoga, dolphins and puppies. I spend a decent amount of time baking weird foods, and trying to find the perfect banana bread recipe (I don’t think I’ve found the one yet.)
